Ready go!!!!!.....horn sounds but DD & I did not run like the rest.But I decided warm up by walking with my DD for about 7 mins.Then slowly i pick up my speed gradually till a constant one and tell myself that i shall run at this speed for the rest of the journey.slowly i "left my DD behind....sincerely i want to take this opportunity to thank him and let him know i am very appreciate that he sacrifice his charming sleep and accompany me to this event....frankly running is not his forte lor....finally i finish 2.5 km and i saw DD still running on the other side, so i asked him to join me instead.Smoothly he make an u-turn and we are on the same road...oops...hahaha....again i leave him behind to enjoy the scenery around him and i running like crazy looking very hard and far far away to see if the ending line is near...
At last, someone shouted: "last 100m...you are not far". finally i see the light i think i dash like mad woman for the next 50m baz...hahaha...
Then i saw people giving out some tag to the runner.When i was about to grab 1 for myself,i heard someone shouted at me asking me where is my running tag. Before i can catch my breathe to answer him,he just signal me to get lost and he attends the ones behind me. Not sure what is going on,i just walk to a corner to do my cool down while waiting for DD to be back.
For about 15mins long,i still do not see any shadow of DD,i decided to stroll upward to the running track and give him support to finish the journey..at last i saw him and he is running with his "shell"...poor DD but i look up on him...haha
Together we went to grab cans of 100plus and start q-ing for our goodies bag which turn out to be some phamplets & a packet of pasta...kind of disappoint though...
Looking at the clock,says 10am.knowing we will be late for step class, we sms our regular to chop board for us.Who knows he replys to say he will not be attending. SIGH!!!...can't possible to rush from east to GWC right??so we heartpainly decided to give the class a go and had our breakie at bedok instead...
